KONMARI® SESSION

A KonMari® Session is a gentle, structured way to create a home that supports your inner life.

This work isn’t about becoming more productive — it’s about creating a space where your whole nervous system can exhale.

You don’t have to optimize your home or become more productive to be worthy of a space that feels good to live in. A KonMari® Session is less about decluttering for its own sake and more about reconnecting with your home so it supports your inner life.

This work blends practical guidance with gentle reflection, helping you understand what you own, why you keep it, and how your environment shapes your energy and ease.

We move at a pace that feels safe, steady, and grounded — with no pressure to be perfect. Just curiosity, breathing room, and a little courage to look at what’s been waiting for your attention.

What this work feels like

✨ More ease — fewer decisions, fewer piles, fewer overwhelming moments

✨ More clarity — you begin to understand your patterns rather than judge them

✨ More support — you don’t carry the emotional and practical weight of this alone

The KonMari® Journey

KonMari® isn’t about perfect rooms — it’s about moving through your things with clarity, curiosity, and support. Instead of going room by room, we work by category — Clothes, Books, Papers, Komono, and eventually Sentimental — so the process feels grounding rather than scattered.

The structure creates momentum, but the experience is deeply personal. We move at a pace that feels steady and safe, pausing when emotions surface and following the rhythms of your energy. Whether you want to begin with a single category or walk through the whole journey, often called the “Tidying Festival,” we navigate it together.

What a Session Includes

A 4-hour Foundational KonMari® Session includes:

🌿 Exploring your Ideal Lifestyle Vision

🌿 A compassionate home tour to understand your rhythms

🌿 Real-time decluttering + organizing in the category/area that matters most now

🌿 Emotional attunement throughout — space for pauses, overwhelm, grief, or joy

Format: available virtually worldwide or in-person in NYC.

Why 4 Hours?

Four hours allows enough time to settle in, build trust, make tangible progress, and understand the emotional landscape we’re working with. Anything shorter tends to rush the process — and this work needs room to breathe.

Pricing

4-Hour Foundational Session — $1,000 (includes tax)
Available virtually worldwide or in person in NYC.

After our first session, you’re welcome to continue through individual sessions or choose a 10-hour package at $200/hour. Many clients naturally continue at this pace over several weeks or months, and the package simply offers a gentler, more spacious way to support the work you want to do.

Who this is for

You’ll feel especially held here if you’re someone who:

💛 feels things deeply and gets easily overstimulated or overwhelmed

💛 wants a space that feels like a sanctuary, not another project

💛 values emotional safety, cultural sensitivity, and a judgment-free experience

💛 thrives with gentle accountability and thoughtful structure

Why this approach works

This work is not just about your things — it’s about your story. Clients often share that they felt held, understood, and supported in ways they didn’t expect. My background in pastoral care, emotional attunement, and multicultural environments shapes my approach: calm, grounded, curious, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. I bring both heart and practical systems so your home can gently come into alignment with your inner life.

“In my first consultation with Kati, I understood immediately that nothing would be imposed on me. Instead, I knew I would be supported with sensitivity and a soothing, clear method. Kati’s goal was to support me in having my home the way I want it. Time spent working with her was pleasurable, and the results have greatly increased the quality of my outer and inner life.”

Steps to Begin

1 — Fill out the questionnaire
The process begins with a thoughtful questionnaire. Your responses and photos help me understand what you’re navigating and whether I’m the right support for you.

2 — Alignment call
If it feels like a potential fit, I’ll be in touch within 2–4 business days to schedule a free 20–30 minute Alignment Call on Zoom. This call is a gentle space to notice how it feels to talk together and to sense whether working together feels right.

3 — Onboarding
If we both feel aligned, I’ll send the service agreement and invoice. Once those are completed, you’ll receive an official calendar invite for our first session.

4 — First session
Before we meet, I’ll share simple prep steps. Then we’ll tour your space, revisit your vision, and begin the KonMari® journey together.

FAQ

  • My work begins with a 4-hour Foundational KonMari® Session, which is $1,000 (including tax) and is available virtually worldwide or in person in NYC.

After the first session, many clients choose to continue with individual sessions or a 10-hour package at $200/hour. Ongoing work often settles into a weekly or biweekly rhythm — a pace that supports momentum while still leaving space to integrate each step between sessions.

Any next steps are discussed together after the first session.

  • Every new client begins with a 4-hour Foundational KonMari® Session. This gives us enough time to get oriented together without rushing.

During our first session, you’ll walk me through your home (or the areas that matter most), share your goals, and show me the spaces that consistently feel overwhelming or draining. We move thoughtfully and at a pace that supports clear, grounded decisions.

This first session lays the foundation for the work ahead and often brings immediate relief simply by creating clarity and direction.

  • You don’t need to feel fully prepared or confident — readiness often emerges through the process itself. We begin where you are, not where you think you should be.

That said, this work does ask for real commitment. To be supportive and sustainable, it requires time, energy, and financial investment over a period of weeks or months. When those pieces are in place, the process has room to unfold without rushing or burnout.

  • The length of the process varies depending on the size of your home, the volume of belongings, your decision-making pace, and whether you do some homework between our sessions. The KonMari Method® isn’t about speed — it’s about creating lasting, meaningful change.

Most clients work together over several months, moving through categories at a steady, supportive pace. Even a single category, such as Clothes, often takes multiple sessions, especially if you have a full wardrobe, storage areas, or haven’t decluttered before. Minimalist wardrobes may move more quickly, while larger or more emotionally layered categories naturally take longer.

During the Alignment Call, we’ll stay focused on whether working together feels like a good fit. A clearer sense of scope and rhythm usually emerges after the first session, once I’ve seen your space and we’ve had a chance to work together.

  • It’s very common to feel hesitant about investing in support for yourself — especially if you’re used to managing on your own, prioritizing others, or pushing through without much help.

This work isn’t about quick fixes or outsourcing a task. We work together, which means the changes you make tend to ripple outward — not just in your home, but in how you relate to your belongings, your time, and your energy. Many clients notice a sense of relief early on, while deeper shifts unfold gradually as the process continues.

Rather than trying to convince yourself that this is “worth it,” it can be more helpful to notice whether having steady, thoughtful support would make what you’re carrying feel lighter.

  • At this time, my work is offered through 4-hour Foundational Sessions. I don’t currently offer shorter sessions, DIY programs, or sliding-scale options.

If you’d like to stay connected to my work, you’re welcome to join Snapshots, my monthly email letter. I share reflections, updates, and occasional news there when new offerings become available.

  • Most clients work with me virtually via Zoom, and I offer virtual sessions worldwide. Many people find this creates a calmer pace and allows us to work thoughtfully without overwhelm.

If you live in New York City, in-person work may be possible on a case-by-case basis, depending on your goals, the nature of the project, and how easy it is to reach your home. When in-person sessions are available, additional travel costs may apply.

  • Sessions and packages are prepaid and non-refundable.

That said, this work is relational. If something feels off once we begin, we’ll talk and adjust how we’re working together.

  • I don’t share before-and-after photos publicly. While they can create a dramatic “wow” effect, they often come at the cost of client privacy and dignity.

I do take before, in-between, and after photos for the client only, as part of documenting the process and supporting continuity between sessions. These images are never shared publicly, and once our work together ends, all photos are deleted.

This work can be deeply personal, and many people feel vulnerable about the state of their homes. I want clients to feel safe and respected, not exposed. That’s why I share written testimonials instead — so you can hear about the experience and the impact without anyone’s private space being put on display.

    • Over 1,800 hours of client experience as a certified Master Level KonMari® Consultant, with a long personal history of decluttering and organizing work dating back to 2010

    • Trauma-informed, inclusive, and LGBTQIA/BIPOC-affirming

    • Neurodivergent myself, with experience working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical clients

    • Former pastor with deep experience holding emotional and transitional spaces

    • Highly sensitive, empathetic, and grounded — with a practical, steady approach

    • I bring humor, warmth, and cultural sensitivity to my work — and outside of sessions I love making art, getting lost in Regency novels, dancing to Beyoncé and Earth, Wind & Fire, catching a good Broadway show, and exploring great food

My goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel safe, hopeful, and steady enough to make real change.

When you’re ready, I’m here.
